When you create a StudentOS account, you agree to the following responsibilities:

• Keep your login credentials secure and don't share your account with others

• Use only one account per person — duplicate accounts may be merged or removed
• Keep your institutional email active for continued benefit eligibility

We want StudentOS to remain a trusted, fair platform for all students. The following actions are strictly prohibited:

StudentOS aggregates student benefits from third-party providers. Here's what you should understand:

• Aggregator, Not Provider — StudentOS surfaces and organizes benefits — we don't provide the benefits ourselves. Each benefit is subject to the provider's own terms and conditions.
• Availability May Vary — Benefits change over time. Providers may modify, discontinue, or update their student programs at any time. We strive to keep information current but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy.
• Eligibility Determined by Providers — Final eligibility for any benefit is determined by the benefit provider, not StudentOS. We match you with opportunities based on your profile, but claiming requires provider verification.
• Value Estimates — Benefit values displayed on our platform are estimates based on publicly available information. Actual values may vary based on your institution, region, or provider terms.
• No Financial Advice — Information on StudentOS should not be considered financial, legal, or academic advice. Always verify details directly with benefit providers before making decisions.

The StudentOS platform, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by StudentOS. However:

StudentOS is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work hard to maintain accuracy and uptime:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform — scheduled maintenance and unexpected outages may occur
• Benefit information may not always be 100% up-to-date, as providers can change programs without notice
• We are not liable for any loss resulting from reliance on benefit information displayed on our platform
• Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in your jurisdiction
• We do not guarantee any specific savings, outcomes, or benefit approvals

You can delete your account at any time through your dashboard settings. When it comes to account termination:

• Your Choice — You may delete your account at any time. Active data is removed, but anonymized usage data is safely archived for analytics.
• Our Right — We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where possible.
• Graduation — If you graduate or leave your institution, your account remains active but some institution-specific benefits may become unavailable.
• Data After Deletion — Once deleted, your active data cannot be recovered. We retain anonymized logs for analytics as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes:

• We'll notify all registered users via email at least 30 days before changes take effect
• A banner will be displayed on the platform highlighting the key changes
• Continued use of StudentOS after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms
• If you disagree with the changes, you may delete your account before they take effect
